Immortals of Aveum swaps weapons for magic in a shooting game.

An FPS that replaces traditional guns with spells that, er, feel mostly like traditional guns, Immortals of Aveum should be commended for trying something new. Ish. And nothing else new at all. But once you get over that not-insignificant hurdle, there’s a decent magical shooter here. One that lets you fire some very pretty particle effects, a fine substitute for boring old bullets.

You’ve got three coloured slots for your ‘sigils’ (i.e. your guns). Red for close-combat, green for rapid-fire, and blue for distant shots. The game gives you new sigils frequently so it shouldn’t take long to find something you like. I relied on a joyous minigun-aping green sigil for most of the game. There’s more magical stuff here too, like blue spells that can be charged up into throwable javelins. That one can be a nightmare to pull off in the heat of battle, but oh-so worth it when it does connect.

Yes, Immortals nails the important bit. These spells are fun to fire. They have a nice sense of impact, especially against human foes who go flying, cursing at you in fantasy gibberish. When everyone’s casting various flavours of death at you and you’re countering with every trick you have, battles quickly descend into an angry firework display. It can be a struggle to figure out what’s going on but I enjoyed that struggle. It gave the shooting a fun sense of chaos, all the more satisfying when I somehow emerged from it alive.

Full credit for those miraculous escapes go to my ‘furies’, powers that draw from a finite mana pool. There’s a fury that shatters shields, one that hurtles you across the arena for a vicious punch, and a personal favourite that blasts all enemies around you. There’s something wonderfully petulant about getting surrounded because you’ve gotten yourself bottlenecked and then slamming a fury to turn the tables. It’s generous with health and mana crystals too, encouraging you to use those powers. Navigating fights is smooth, with a double-jump from the start and later the ability to hover. I loved floating down from on high, machine-gunning like a homicidal Doctor Strange. There’s a stun move that, when timed just right, makes enemies magic attacks backfire on them. I got a lot of smug satisfaction out of that one too.

The Witcher: CD Projekt Red confirms new game with Unreal 5 engine

Studio CD Projekt Red has announced that it is developing the newest game in The Witcher franchise, using the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine. No information has been revealed about the plot, gameplay, platform or even expected release date. Not even the name has been confirmed - although, of course, the public is already referring to the project as The Witcher 4.

The company boiled down to saying that the game "will start a new saga and a new technological partnership with Epic Games" and that it will not be exclusive to any console. In the image used in the teaser, you can see a medallion in the shape of a wild animal. It could be a wolf, similar to the one Geralt of Rivia uses. Rivia's story, however, was concluded in the third game in the series.

As this artifact is actually offered to all Witchers of the School of the Wolf, some fans believe that the new game may accompany an unprecedented character formed by this organization. Still others bet that the medallion actually refers to Escola do Gato

Age of Empires III Complete Colection = Good Old Times

Same Age

Still remember the first time I played Age of Empires III, still remember that fantastic experience. Remember I was amazed by the news that game brought to as consolidated franchise Age of Empires. Over years I ended up leaving aside my old friend who accompanied me for several nights and early mornings filled with hours of play. However, by entering recently in specialized sites, I was surprised by the announcement of the launch of Age of Empires III Complete Colection. Unlike what happened with the remastered Age of Empires II, Age of Empires III Complete Colection does not present anything new, just good old Age III in a complete package with all expansions.

Although it has no novelty, Age of Empires III continues to be a good choice. The variety of civilizations with its advantages and disadvantages along the good metropolis card system do a great RTS game

Civilization List

Spanish
The Spanish have great military power, both infantry and cavalry. Flexibility in the first expeditions departing from Hometown allows Spanish attack sooner or later establish a strong economy. The Christmas City improvements benefit of the Spanish soldiers, buildings and naval units.

French
Although the economy of the French start slowly, the Coureur unit, Villager with strong fighting skills, makes it difficult to attack the French at the beginning. The French also have the strongest cavalry unit in the game - the Cuirassier. In addition, the French are experts at allying with the Native Americans.

Dutch
Although the Dutch Settlers are limited and expensive, the Dutch civilization up for this economic disadvantage by building Banks and generating coin automatically. The Dutch Home City emphasizes upgrades to defense and economy.

Russian
Starting the game with extra resources but fewer Settlers gives the Russians focusing on economy or an early raid. The Russian infantry, individually weak, are trained in blocks at a faster pace, which gives the Russians the opportunity to master the enemy with greater numbers.

British
Quick access to Settlers gives the British have one of the strongest economies in the game. The ability to upgrade two key units - Musketeers and Hussars - makes the formidable military power of the British in the "late game" (long play). The British Home City emphasizes improvements to technology and naval warfare.

Portuguese
How to start the game with two Town Centers, the Portuguese can produce Settlers, control territory or support their allies. The bezel ability allows the Portuguese spy on enemies with ease. The Portuguese also have a strong navy, strong light infantry and the best Dragoons in the game.

German
The Germans have fewer Settlers and therefore a slower economy. Fortunately, the Settler Wagon and Uhlan cavalry spawn for free at the City Centre of German. In addition, the Germans start with the ability to send Mercenaries from their Home City (long before other civilizations can).

Ottomans
For the Ottomans, Settlers are automatically generated in the City Centre. Building a Mosque and conducting research help keep Settler production steady. Because of its position, extending through Europe and Asia, the Ottomans have more unique units than any other civilization

The WarChiefs

Sioux Nation
With the discovery of gold in the sacred black mountains, the Sioux had sporadic conflicts with the new immigrants, generating the Indian War and eventually the Battle of the Little Big Horn. The Sioux Nation consists of three distinct geographical divisions of people who speak the Sioux language: the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota the. In the Sioux language these names mean "friend." These people are known to train very well their horses and their biggest advantage over enemies is its rapid and strong cavalry.

Iroquois Confederation
The Iroquois formed the League of Five Nations long before the arrival of Europeans in North America. They have a constitution with very specific laws for the selection of warlords, guides and even speakers for funerals. Benjamin Franklin had great respect for the Iroquois community. During the American Revolution some tribes, some allied with the British and other the settlers, dismantled the powerful confederation of the Iroquois. Equipped with a powerful artillery and deadly weapons, this civilization can trigger a great rematch anytime.

Aztec Empire
This is the most powerful civilization of Mesoamerica. They built large cities, the most famous being the Tenochtitlan, Mexico. This city has been described by some Spanish as a city as big as the European ones, with advanced infrastructure full of temples, markets and channels. In Aztec society, each member establishes its own individual religion, educational background and war training. In this game the Aztec people have a strong elite infantry with numerous units.

The Asian Dynasties;

India
India has the distinction of the villagers require wood instead of food for its creation. Moreover, India has increased ballast villagers than other Asian civilizations. Even as this civilization, stands out the war elephants and the wonders available: Agra Fort, Taj Mahal and Karni Mata, all artistically relevant architectural constructions. Top units: Sepoys, Mahout Lancer (anti-infantry cavalry, but it is an elephant) and siege elephants. Best mercenary unit: Arsionist (infantry with flamethrowers).

Japan
Japan was booked the most powerful units in the game, the samurai. The Hatamoto Samurai, for example, are infantry units capable of morally inspire his troops providing them bonus on attacks. Another unit, the Daimyo, is practically a quarter-mobile as it is able to "train" infantry units and artillery in combat. The penalty for such power, however, is reasonable. Since - grounded in cultural traits of these people - you can only collect fish food, not being allowed to hunt them and create cattle. Moreover, it is possible to create around these animals sanctuaries to collect, obscure, food manner. Another advantage of the Japanese is that many letters can be sent twice, thereby doubling the benefits gained from them.

China
China has a marvel, called "porcelain tower", which sends the player a food supply continuously, and can then be programmed to produce food, timber, currency, or a mixture of all three together with points and export experience. Located on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Nanjing, China, Porcelain Tower was once considered one of the seven wonders of the world. China's people called the Bao'ensi, or "Temple of Gratitude," but Europeans visiting called it Nanjing porcelain tower in reference to the tower porcelain bricks. China has cards that allow them the immediate wake of villagers near the house, resulting in faster collection of resources. The Middle Ages is remembered as an era of adventures , battles and great kingdoms . Mount & Blade : Warband you enter from a peasant to a noble back in time and take part of it all in the land of Calradia , a world with various kingdoms in the desert , snow and forest.

In this new expansion the graphics are more neat , thanks to new lighting technology HDR Lightining . The textures are also more polished , fancy , giving a better look at the previous version .

Also new is the possibility to join an army on a fast , or online multiplayer battle in multiplayer mode .

Mount & Blade : Warband

If you've played Mount & Blade , knows how it works . Here there are no wizards or spells , battles are eye to eye , face to face . And in the real world freedom is a constitutional right , the game is no different .

The player can get around anywhere, anytime , with caravans crossing , bandits and other warriors . Should strive to develop and buy new equipment for merchants to become increasingly stronger .

As only buy things with money , to win it the warrior has many options available : becoming a negotiator, a mercenary , protecting caravans , steal and capture prisoners or fulfill quests . About the offers are the kings , nobles , merchants and even villagers .

The game

Before you start playing it is important to learn how to fight in the tutorial . It is highly recommended because it 's where you learn to use the sword , both to attack and to defend . Also learn to use other weapons like bows and arrows and spears , and riding.

To fight one uses the mouse as if it were a sword . Should push the left button and move it left, right , forward or backward to different attacks and use defesas.Para walking up the W , S , A, D , and keys to jump, spacebar .

Mount & Blade : Warband Fighting .

After practicing enough , the player party into Calradia . When starting the game , the gamer has the option to choose whether the character is male or female , and customize the appearance .

Detail: as historically women had limited rights before, the game is no different . Therefore , if you choose for a woman to know that the difficulties will be greater !

There are good options available as to the customization , the hair color to the face, and also choose which flag and bear arms . You also need to define the battle with which the warrior begins . There are several points to be distributed among intelligence , agility , strength, and many others.

Mount & Blade : Warband customization

After selecting appearance and characteristics of your character , the player sets his story . This is important because it will influence the pitch . There are numerous options , from a simple peasant family without even a noble student who lost everything and seeks revenge .

Started the game , the player must get to talk to everyone and look for quests and adventures . The dialogues are very important and pay attention when it responds is very important . Staying connected to everything that happens is critical because the world around not to !

As previously mentioned , the game gives you complete freedom and can develop , have your obedient warriors and go from peasant or vassal king. Among head in the medieval world , Battle , and Conquer has his own army . Good luck!

For the true King !! War Of The Roses

The War of the Roses is an action game in the third person , with a storyline based in England in the fifteenth century . The story is quite simple but engaging and attractive as well : in search of power in the UK , two families - the Lancaster ( red ) and The York ( white ) - engage in an intense battle for the throne.

The gameplay of War of the Roses is common to games third-person adventure features . A camera behind the user , is the main way to view the scenery . There are several ways to customize your character with clothes, weapons and also special skills , all depending on the type of character ( knight, archer and soldier, for example) . Each has typical features and can accomplish certain goals and help the team achieve victory .

The game world is vast and the possibilities are endless combat . The game has a relatively good score on Steam , and there are options for paid DLC to make it even more complete .

The basic mission is to kill all rivals as you can. There is an online mode with up to 64 people in the team and in sudden death mode achievements . The battles over the Internet are made in up to 11 zones of war and give user experience and points for the world ranking . The basic commands are walking , arrows or letters on the right keys , and use the guns by clicking the mouse.

It's really a great game, although it demands a powerful Hardwere to function smoothly . It is worth noting a certain loss of players, considering that the cade since most servers seem to be emptied .
